"To Sorrow's Furnace": involves four sub-quests with a host of quests tied to them, culminating in a final quest. Not too hard.
"Defend Droknar's Forge": you fight more Titans. After that, three more quests, with a final quest after. Harder than above. Temple of the Ages: go and clear out the Underworld and the Fissure of Woe. After that, go PvP or something, I dunno. Or even do that before you do the above. |

yep.... oh wait there is always PvP, And unlocking all skills/Elites, and unlocking all Runes. Exploring undiscovered areas... I guess just because the Mission based part of the game is coming to an end doesn't mean that is all there is to do...

tombs and gvg. basically once everyone finishes the game and grows out of their newb phase, that is what they end up doing.

Thats true, european Marhans Grotto is a boring place to be. 3 or 4 people walking veeerryyy ssloooowwlllyyyy around. But i found that tombs is really boring if youre not in a guild group as everyone is looking for NOWAY groups or smiters. And since im not Rank 3, you get rubbish groups to join. Competition Arenas for me anyday

You could always PvP for hundreds upon hundreds of hours, like Anet wants you to. *grumbles*

If you aren't ready for PvP, start another toon. Pick something totally different than the first time and use a weird combination of skills that looks fun to try. Pick up some of the quests you may have missed along the way. See how much different the game is with other characters.
I beat the game with my necro/mes then started a warrior/necro (admittedly doesn't sound that different but actually it is) and an ele/monk. Twinking is fun too. Give your nooblets high end weapons and money for good armor so you can cruise through the low level quests and missions. I soloed the first few missions with my warrior, it was a hoot. Just don't run your twinks to Droknar's Forge to buy the level 20 armor and then go back to the level 10 arena and pound on noobs. That's lame. Mind you, I take great pleasure out of beating these level 4 twinks who think they can beat level 10s just because they have 80 armor. Necromancers and mesmers make short work of them. |

On the other hand, the amount of "replay value" that GW has depends on how you play the game. On my first time through with my first character, I played mostly with henchmen. Now, with my 2nd, 3rd and 4th characters, I am playing almost completely with parties consisting of at least 50% human party members. And the ones that I am playing with are mostly really fun to play with team players, who wish to play this game in the same style as I do (relaxed pace, lots of humorous messaging, etc.). And because of this, I don't find that doing the same quests and missions over and over again is becoming boring at all. At least not yet. |
